NASA JSC SWAG Traditional Cache
TheBicycler: I am archiving this cache. I was able to get the cache back from NASA security and I moved the TB that was in it along. Security offered to let me put the cache on NASA property that is open to the public but I don't think the Prime Reviewer would let me place it on NASA property. I plan to put it back out in the NASA area in the near future.

This is a large ammo can located close to the Johnson Space Center.
I worked at the Johnson Space Center for 32 years and collected a lot of Space Shuttle patches and other stuff pertaining to the space program. I haven’t even looked at the stuff since I retired 2 years ago and decided to go through it. I thought to myself, what am I going to do with all this? I decided to give it to the geocaching community. Please take one item for each person. Don’t be greedy. Some items are in ziplock bags, please keep them that way. You are welcome to add your own items if you wish. Travel Bugs, personal tags and coins are welcome. There is plenty of room. When everything is taken I will archive the cache and make it a TB hotel or just a regular cache.
If you feel uncomfortable parking on the shoulder you can park at the school, fire station, or Rocket Park and walk to the cache. Just tell the guards at JSC that you are going to Rocket Park and they'll let you in. I think the No Parking signs where put out because of so many cars parking along the road during the Ballunar Liftoff Festival.
