Geocache Description:

This is part two of a series of caches which will provide a little trivia about the area you are searching. This is a camoed bison tube located in Alan Kulwicki Park.

Trivia: Alan Kulwicki, born in Greenfield, WI, was nicknamed Special K and The Polish Prince. His racing career started at local short tracks in Wisconsin. When he started at NASCAR he had no sponsors, a limited budget and a borrowed pick-up truck. Alan was the first college graduate to win a Winston Cup title. Alan performed his famous Polish Victory lap (driving a lap clockwise with the driver's side facing the fans) in 1988 when he won his first NASCAR race. He got in trouble with NASAR officials, but no one complained when he did it again after winning the 1992 overall NASCAR championship. Tragically, he died at age 38 in a plane crash on April 1, 1993. We miss you, Alan Kulwicki. First to find wins the honor of being the first to find. Congratulations to Youngins3 on FTF. This cache was placed with permission from Brian Russart, Natural Areas Coordinator, Milwaukee County Parks, permit #101.
