Geocache Description:

This one had to be replaced and the container is now a "Mighty Mega".

As we were writing up our last cache hide over in Independence Park and trying to decide on a name, we were reflecting on how this game of geocaching is dependent upon reciprocity. You hide something and I find it - then I hide something and you find it. Without that kind of working together and giving back to one another, geocaching would not be nearly so much fun.

One way this reciprocity and giving back is exemplified is by the Groundspeak Volunteers - so we decided to name that last cache "TSR - The Secret is Reciprocity" (GC35H7R). Before that one was even published, we decided to make this a three-cache "Reciprocity Series" to recognize the contributions of the then-current Indiana Reviewers to this hobby. Since then, a fourth volunteer Reviewer (Hoosier Reviewer) has joined the team - thus prompting this to become a four-cache series. We have created a bookmark list for all of the caches in the series: Bookmark LINK.

The initials of this cache are for Reviewer Hilts - whose primary activity since we started caching earlier this year has been to comb through the Indiana caches to make sure the ones that are missing get maintained or archived. The other two Indiana Reviewers - TSR and TMR - are known to many people as they attend events and provide advice and counsel. But the identity of Reviewer Hilts is known to few as RH's current role could make RH the target of unfriendly stuff. This is a thankless job, but someone has to do it. This cache is a way to say "Thank you!"

Well, the elusive nature of Reviewer Hilts has influenced this hide. It is more difficult than the other two in this series so far. The original container got washed away in the flooding in early 2014, so the new container is a "Mighty Mega" and hopefully the placement is a little more flood proof.

This is our most difficult hide to date, so we would appreciate feedback on the rating. It is starting out as a 2.5/2.5 - but it is being hidden in the late fall, so it may be more difficult when things leaf out in the spring.
