Woolley Edge Climbing Traditional Cache
rocks_r_us: It is with sadness that we’ve decided to archive this cache. When we placed it the side of the road was clear, there were safe parking spots and we even used to climb below. Since then rocks have been placed to stop fly tipping but also prevent safe parking and now there’s barbed wire. We no longer feel this is a safe or fun place to cache so it’s time to archive. Thank you to all the previous finders and hunters.

A roadside micro cache
NOTE: By roadside, we simply mean you do NOT need to go climbing up/down the rocks. Be careful not to go too close to the edge as there is a 10m drop... Woolley Edge is a small recognised climbing spot, which does offer some nice climbing problems, and was one of several frequented locations for us as climbers. Unfortunately, the rubbish tipped down the cliff made the climbing less appealing and we haven't been back for a while. Hopefully, the new bollards in the form of rocks will put a stop to the dumping and climbing there will once more become pleasant with fabulous sunset views from the bottom of the small crag.
