Geocache Description:

Small cache at shelter

Mangapai is another small rural settlement.

I have heard that it was once planned as the main service centre for Northland - on map - but am not sure about this as have been unable to find any information to back this up.

It once had a school and post office - now there seems to be a playcentre next to the hall.
