Baleeira's Fort, Sagres's forgotten building.
Construído por volta de 1573, este forte foi atacado pelo pirata inglês Sir Francis Drake. A fortaleza tinha por função proteger os pescadores locais e albergou no local uma ermida dedicada à Nossa Senhora da Guia. Actualmente apenas se vislumbram alguns alicerces de muros e um arco.
Probably built around the year 1573, this fort was attacked by the English pirate Sir Francis Drake. It functioned as a protection for the local fishermen and had an hermitage dedicated to Our Lady of Guia. Nowadays, only some foundations and an arch can be seen.
