The trail follows the old Greytown to Woodside branch railway (1880 - 1953). It runs through farmland, stands of heritage trees and native plantings, with beautiful views of the Tararuas.
The trail is wheelchair accessible, dogs must be on a leash and it is unsuitable for horses and motorbikes.
The cache is a 400ml sistema. [UPDATE 25/1/2023 - replaced with a small pill bottle. Please bring your own pen.
As usual please watch out for muggles who might be using the path or working next door at the recycling plant.
