Herman Sneak Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

VinceHayter: I stopped by and found this one to be missing once again. I think I need to rethink this one to be a bit more creative and a bit better hidden. However, if someone else wants to give the spot a shot, they are welcome to it; I have other caches on my 'hope-to-hide' list that will likely prevent me from using this location for a significant period of time.

Oh, and for the sake of consistency, 529...

Geocache Description:

The final sneak appears, but just exactly who is this mysterious person?

During my final conversations with Director Sneak and Sneak, I was warned of another in the Sneak clan that was apparently seeking me and that I needed to be careful if I intended to continue my research. Curiously, I was not told why. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to find out any further information before both Sneaks and the Masked Sneak went mysteriously missing. Without actively heeding this warning, my time eventually became filled with work, parenting and other obligations and the search for any remaining Sneak family members tailed off. Having heard nothing else from any of the Sneaks, the search fell further and further into the back of my mind until it was nearly lost completely.

Recently, I was going through my caching supplies I had set aside for specific projects and -following the relative success of the hide for 'Patience'- thought of a location which might be suitable for a similar hide; a small public wharf where boats are permitted to dock just outside of my neighborhood. Lil rye and I have been there many times and have never encountered muggles, so I put together a new prototype I wanted to try and set out one morning on my way to work. Unfortunately, that was the morning I met Herman.

I'll save the story for another time and place, as it's important but has little bearing on finding this cache. Suffice to say, more has been revealed about the sneak 'family', their history and the mysterious disappearances...

As previously stated, this cache is located at a public wharf near the end of Shady Side peninsula. Take note of the D/T rating (as well as the attributes) as the search need not be as difficult as it might first appear. There is no need to get wet, venture onto private property, nor can this cache be retrieved by boat (without some difficulty). Bring your own pen; tweezers are also highly recommended but not necessary.
