A small traditional park and grab cache just a little bit off the beaten track.
I was drawn to this area by a couple of new caches placed nearby. I decided to add one of my own as its such a great spot to visit and also because I was intrigued by the potentials indicated by the sign at GZ.
I have just discovered another cool connection to this area. Two of our kids have been involved in tree planting in this area while at primary school over the last few years. One 6 years ago and one just this year. They were rewarded for their efforts with a kowhai tree. So we now have one tiny and one quite substantial kowhai in our garden.
A Public Access Easement to this cache exists for light motor vehicles, motor bikes, horses, bicycles and walkers. The land occupier may close access during darkness or for safety reasons. Any such closures will be sign posted at the gate.
The cache is a 200ml camo painted sistema container with log, pencil, eraser, sharpener and room for small swaps.
