After 15 years living in Dublin, I finally took a look at these springs. In the early 1800's, they were an important location for commerce. Jose Amador, in 1826, built his home about 300 feet west of the historical marker on the site of Alamilla Spring. He was the first settler in this valley and raised cattle, horses, grapes and grain on his "Rancho San Ramon".
This nano cache is located near the springs, but not at the actual location. Cache is plastic nano.
After finding the cache, walk north about 30 yards over to the springs. Not quite what it used to be, but still interesting. I considered submerging the cache in the spring, but the water seemed only semi-liquid, so I changed my mind. Maybe next time.
