Geocache Description:

Sometimes you are on one side of the river and sometimes the dawg is on the other side of the river! You might want to leap over the river or fly over the river — but you can't — because you can't fly and seriously, you can't leap that far either — no matter how much you want to.

But, you can see the dawg — it's just out of reach.

Sometimes you can be tempted to swim across the river... but, c'mon, it's a river. And, perhaps, in the winter time, if it has been cold enough and the river is frozen over, you might think to yourself that it's possible to walk across the river (but that's dangerous and you know it).

And the dawg is there. You're so close, not only can you see it, you can probably smell it.

You could perhaps swing across the river but that involves ropes and you'd probably want a safety harness.

Who knows, maybe you brought along an extension ladder (cachers are typically prepared) but who is going to try to cross a river using an extension ladder? Is it even long enough? No, it's silly and hazardous!

Now if you were Evel Knievel, you could set up a ramp and using your trusty motorcycle, jump the river — it's certainly a LOT narrower than the Snake River Canyon but if you're going to go to all that trouble it would probably be best to alert the media. You know, get some news crews out there.

But that's A LOT of effort to get to the dawg — but you know that — so, you'd probably be better off to driving over and in. That's what I'd do.
