The Tributary Nature Trail connects the Tributary community to the trail system of Sweetwater Creek State Park. This small Lock 'N Lock container is hidden near one of the picnic table areas along the path.
***UPDATE 8/22*** Upon heading out there earlier this summer, I realize that I failed to update the difficulty and the terrain. I have updated those to reflect more of the reality of what this hike will be. As the trails are still accessible by the public, they are slowly fading away. Over the course of time and people not using them it has gotten more difficult to decipher where the original trail was as well as the maintenance of those trails has become null. By all means, it is not super Duper difficult to get out there, but it’s still can be a hike. Based on a recent finders advice, I am going to look for a different way to access this then through the housing complex. Hopefully making this an easier cache. ***Old Description *** I discovered this nature trail while seeking a place to hide a cache. The trail winds through the woods for about 1.3 miles from the trailheads in the Tributary community to a campsite at the Sweetwater Park boundary. Several of the little creek crossings have a bridge but a couple do not. Unless it has recently rained a lot, there shouldn't be any issue stepping over these small crossings.
