Geocache Description:

Another geocache with a nice Blue Mountains view . . .

GZ is located across Cliff Drive from the famous Solitary Restaurant and Kiosk, which is itself named for Mt. Solitary (the sacred mountain Korowal) clearly visible in the distance, across the Jamison Valley.

Cliff Drive is a spectacular roadway that takes you right along the cliff edges between Katoomba and Leura. There are lookouts positioned all along Cliff Drive, and whether you stay in your car or get out to stand at the lookouts, you'll enjoy some great perspectives in this majestic area.

Park at the Solitary Restaurant car park and then cross the road on foot in order to find this cache. It's rated as a 1.5 terrain because getting from the car park behind the Solitary to the cache site may prove a little difficult for wheelchairs, and although a quick and easy walk, please watch out for traffic, especially right at the corner. (If you arrive at the actual roadside GZ in a wheelchair, then the cache is indeed wheelchair accessible.)

This is a great place to join the Prince Henry Cliff Walk. Many trees partly obscure the view from GZ, but you can get glimpses of the Jamison Valley scenery from various points.
