Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the posted coordinates!! (so don't look there) - it is somewhere in the Conejo Canyons Open Space area.

This cache is for geocachers who have found a cache on 366 of the calendar days and/or 366 days in a row. Do both and you can log this twice!! Only once!

You should see this on the trail to the cache.

This is a challenge cache, so you must complete either challenge in order to log a "Found it" for the cache. If you complete both, you can get a second smiley as a bonus. Feel free to visit the cache and sign the physical log anytime you wish, but you cannot log it online until you qualify.

In addition to finding the cache and signing the physical log, to qualify for a "Found It" online, you must have completed one or both of the following challenges:

Challenge 1: Find at least one cache on 100% of the dates of the year.
For this challenge, that means 366 days (February 29th included!)
OR
Challenge 2: Find at least one cache for any 366 days in a row.

For the first challenge, these days do not have to be consecutive or in the same calendar year. You just have to have found a cache on 366 different dates (every date of the year).

For the second challenge, you must have found at least one cache for 366 straight days in order to log this cache. You do NOT have to have a February 29th as one of your days.

In your "Found it" log, please provide evidence of your meeting the challenge requirement. The best/easiest way to do this is provide a screenshot from a stats program showing which dates you have cached (several are available online for free.) Listing the qualifying caches in your log, attaching a Bookmark List, or another way that definitively shows your accomplishment is also acceptable. If you have questions regarding how to verify, let me know. "Found it" logs without adequate backup will be deleted.

Note: The Difficulty level shown takes into account both finding the actual cache container and completing the challenge. Finding the physical cache container, once you have the coordinates, is ~ 1-1/2 stars. I put it here because it is nice easy hike.

There are 3 FTF prizes, the first for the cacher who has completed both challenges ($10 gift certificate for Starbucks or Amazon), one for the first to log 366 days (every day of the year), the second is for 366 consecutive finds, ($5 gift certificate each). I will send them to the FTFs after the find is logged, and the choice made. There is also a micro trackable to move along for the first to find the cache

This is a challenge and a puzzle cache all rolled into one. The final is located in the Conejo Canyons Open Space, most readily accessed by the new bridge that was install in January. Refer to Western Gate to the Western Plateau (Conejo Cyn#1) for how to get to the trail. Please note that this Open Space area is open from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM

So where is this cache?

The cache is off the trail between the trailhead mentioned above and Uranus. To find out exactly where, start with a three digit significant number (significant to the rules of this cache). Multiply it by a number between 0 and 5, and either add it to or subtract it from the .mmm of the longitude and add or subtract a different number multiple to/from the .mmm of latitude of the published coordinates.
[Note that different values are used to modify N and W, and you should use normal arithmetic rules.]

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

*****Congratulations to RocketBrewer for FTF on BOTH parts of the 366 day challenge *****
*****Congratulations to fastflyer & crossbow spartan for FTF on the 366 day calendar part *****

*****Congratulations to bleed_blue_LA for FTF on the 366 consecutive day part *****

Happy Caching! A cache a day keeps the doctor away

Feedback is always appreciated on the difficulty/terrain ratings, cache descriptions, etc - thanks.

I modeled this cache on one I saw by cphug184 in Virginia, 366 Days of Caching- The Long, Long Road, and thank him for the permission to borrow the concept and some of his words
