This is part of a series of themed caches located at a MDC Conservation area. Permission for placement has been granted by MDC Forester in charge of the area, Mrs. Frances Main.
Late this Summer there was a whispering in the wind that something was astir in a neighboring Wood. Being the inquisitive type I made several journeys to see if something was truly amiss....either foul or fair. The forest was overly watchful as I entered certain areas. The trees and their inhabitants were restless as I made several discoveries. They were concerned.......would I be able to keep their secrets? Secrets? Aye...their secrets.
Over time I have earned their trust, and so I told them that I am part of a very special Order that travels among the trees in many and various locations. People associated with this Order would be able to keep their secrets just as well. I beseeched the Forestal of the Wood. After some pondering, directions, agreements, and truces..... permission has been granted. Tis an Inception......a Beginning of a grand undertaking. The Beasties of the Wood await you.
Your approach into the Wood is duly noted by this Sentry regardless of method or direction of approach. Some methods and directions will be easier than others. The Borderland is full of thorny bits, you'll be happy to know there are no thorns around GZ. We don't want to go sprawling on the ground before the Gatekeeper. That would be unseemly for one of our Order.
The Gatekeeper may at first appear a bit unassuming, but he his highly regarded and in quite high standing with his peers here in the Wood. As I said, truces were made, so he is prepared to grant you entry into the Wood without undue delay. He likes to stay dry in his post, so if you don't mind....once you've completed your task.....please close the door on the way out.
GZ is located right on the border of Conservation land and right in between the two main parking areas.
