Join us on Saturday (2/4/12) at 5:30 pm for a mid-winter meet and greet in the Parish Hall of Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Martha's (AllStarSS) famous chili provided....bring a salad, soft drinks or dessert to share.
This is to recognize those in our community who have reached "milestones" recently ("00" caches). Post a note (by Tuesday midnight, 1/31/12) with the most recent milestone you have reached, and we will present you with a printed certificate commemorating your achievement.
The event will conclude with the presentation of the "Hidey" awards at 7 pm recognizing special achievements in geocaching.
Nomination Parameters:
Please send your nominations to hideyawards2012@gmail.com. Nominations will be accepted until DEC 15 with voting opening on the 17th (gives us a day to get things organized) and will remain open until Feb. 1, 2012.
Caches must have been placed between Jan. 1, 2010 and Dec 15, 2011 to qualify for nomination, except for HR Hall of Fame which must have been placed before Jan. 1, 2010.
Must be within these boundaries:
North - 37° 20.000 West - 076 ° 40.000
East - The Atlantic ocean South - NC Border
