Hanging bison tube (gives it away, but the point is not to make it hard, but to keep it from going missing!) near a little pond tucked away in the back of Meadowbrook Park.
The listed coordinates are for parking. There is a light pole nearby, but don't worry - that's not where the final cache is.
This cache will bring you to a couple of spots in Meadowbrook Park. You'll see a couple of sections of the streams running through here, and you'll walk near a couple of ponds. If it's a slow day in the park, you're also pretty likely to catch sight of a few different types of birds, some deer, frogs, and blue heron (although I will admit that I only saw one heron one time ever).
Stage 1: There is a stand with some electrical equipment on it. Do not go up on the platform. Under the platform is a large white pipe. There is a part number on the “red coupling socket” which doesn’t seem all that red to me. The part number starts with “MN” and has four digits in it. Call those four digits ABCD.
There was a flood gauge in the stream. Interesting to stand there and wonder how high up this stream could really get. But as TheWoodenRadio pointed out, it's gone. I previously used numbers on the flood gauge to help calculate the North coordinates. For now, it seems easier to just give away the answer to this part. If the flood gauge comes back someday, I'll revert back.
F=2, G=3.
Now do some calculations:
J = B – G
K = A + G
L = B - C
The North coordinate for the cache is N 39 14.JKL.
Stage 2: There is a phone number listed here. No, not the 3 digit one. Look for the 10 digit phone number. The 4th digit in the phone number is W (nnn-Wnn-nnnn). The 9th digit in the phone number is X (nnn-nnn-nnXn). The 10th digit in the phone number is Y (nnn-nnn-nnnY).
Z=X-W
The West coordinate for the cache is W 076 49.1YZ.
Final: It can be a little swampy at the cache location. About 100 feet to the northwest of the cache is a nice spot to spend a few minutes checking out a little pond.
Leave the paved trail near the "Call 911" post numbered MBT8.
Congratulations to Wizard and Suzanne for the FTF!
