Wandering Heroes - The Rats Traditional Cache
Wandering Heroes - The Rats
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Cache is a small preform. It only contains a log so make sure you bring a writing implement. The area is bushland and on a main road with a 110km/h limit so care should be taken with tin lids and keep an eye out for snakes.
This cache is dedicated to a prolific cacher from NSW who as it turns out is also an old school friend. The details I'll leave to their own log:
** Latest News **After 5 years of caching we clocked up our 1000th find on the 2nd Apr 07. Only a year and a half after my 1000th find we reached our 2000th find on the 12th Sept 08. Almost 12 months to day later we found our 3000th find. At Australia's first Mega Event we reached our 4000th find. At each kilo milestone we have bought a geocoin to commemorate the achievement. 1000 find coin. and 2000 find coin. and 3000 find coin and 4000 find coin,
The sport of geocaching has grown so much since we started, its amazing. The places we have been to most people wouldn't see in a lifetime. Geocaching recently celebrated 10 years with a number of worldwide parties. In October 2009 we were part of a composite team that set a new Australian one-day record for the most finds in 24 hours. (210 finds) We look forward to plenty more finds and meeting many more cachers.
** Hobbies ** Geocaching, Bushwalking-Rogaine, Caving, Abseiling, Camping, 4WD comps and a general love of the great outdoors. Volunteering with the State Emergency Service also takes up alot of our time.
** Biography ** A family of 5 who are hooked on geocaching - well Dad is anyway!!!
