An Architectural Adventure Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is a 3 stage Multi-Cache Architectural Tour. Final cache is log-only Please BYOP. Residential street parking available at ALL 3 Waypoints.
**FYI-The total traveling distance, from the start at WP1 to finish at WP3 is roughly 1 mile**

One of the top reasons I LOVE LONG BEACH, is the wide-range diversity of it's collection of unique architecture.  Literally every single  house, apartment building, city park, every business complex  restaurant, and hotel, is different. If you just look around, you will see the diverse artistic influences within the design of each building. A generalized, city-wide trait, Long Beach has come to be known for.
I would like to share with you, a few of my favorite houses & buildings that have made quite an impression in my mind. This is a 3 part tour - beginning at 1 of my top 2 favorite houses, which will lead you to a spot I've chosen that has a collection of different styles of architecture, which then leads you the rest of the way to the 2nd of my 2 favorite houses in Ling Beach.

•At Waypoint #1, I would like to point out the House Directly across the St from the Phone Pole I've lead you to (which has the coordinates leading to WP2 on it - look on the street side of the pole) This first house was designed and built by its original & current owner. Quite the imagination to create such a whimsical and cheerful house!!

•Once you've reached WP2, search for, what will be your next TOOL, absolutely necessary to help guide you to the final location. It will be low to the ground, magnetic & well... kinda on the rusty side. On e you find your tool, use it to its full potential. It will go to great lengths to show you the way.

•Finally at WP3, you will come upon my last house of the tour. This one is so detailed and so beautiful, but you really have to just stop and take in all it's details to truly appreciate it a a whole.  Here,  you will also find the final cache container. It's of course designed to fit in with it's surroundings.
** I will leave you with this: This cache container was influenced by an old  tradition, associated with the clear cultural influence in architecture of the house.

It is a sacred tradition, welcoming  travelers & visitors, with a physical & spiritual cleansing. This is always performed just outside the house gates, before entering the home.
