Microcache in front of Henjoin.
Henjoin is known for expelling evil spirits. The expeling ceremony is held at Setsubun (on 3rd Feb., maybe). Kikuma is known for the production of a roofing tile. A kind of roofing tile is onigawara, decorative ridge-end tile traditionally bearing the face of a demon and resembling a gargoyle. Usually, we spent Setsubun spreading roasted beans saying "Huku ha Uchi, Oni ha Soto", means Happiness inside, evils outside. However, this temple says "Huku ha uchi, Oni mo uchi."
