While geocaching between Topeka and Atchison, so decided to add this little cemetery to my REAPER series.
Cemetery is located just north of Valley Falls, KS, at intersection KS Hwy 4 and 162nd Road.
I placed the container in an area where you will have to REACH OVER a barbed wire fence, should not pose any problems for anyone other than height or reach challenged persons. Unless you are adventurous, should be no reason to do any bush whacking or climbing over the barbed wire fence - just REACH OVER and retrieve. D/T rating as is because of the barb wire.
When I placed cache there were empty alcohol containers in general location - seems to be a "happening" place. Did some CITO while in area.
Cache placed in December so there was no sign of PI, ticks, or critters. That may change in warmer weather. Some small vines in area. Please be careful around the barbed wire.
Cache that you will be searching for is a slender challenged COIN HOLDER covered in camo tape dangling in a cedar tree branch. This is a cemetery so please observe any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we have all read on other page write-ups concerning cemeteries.
NOTE: There may be a silver metallic wire with a yellow tag entangled in the cemetery fence directly below cache container.
UPDATE: July 03, 2017 - Replaced blatantly stolen container.
UPDATE: June 08, 2019 - Maintenance check and took a while to find this thing myself. Adjusted coordinates as best as possible and raised D/T ratings just a bit (some people may find this quickly, others may not - including me!!).
UPDAT: October 17, 2020 - Replaced missing container and updated page write-up.
