This is well worth your effort! Not only the swag at the end but the view as well! Plan on at least 30 minutes to find and return to your vehicle. If you like nature and the views of the river, PLAN ON LONGER THAN 30 MIN.
PARK UPHILL OF THE STREET SIGN which is the on the OUTSIDE OF THE VERY SHARP CURVE, please. Anywhere else might be on someone's property.
This one is just past the end of our neighborhood trail through the woods. My 7 year old and I just love to explore the woods. Parallel the river a while and enjoy the view!
There are some trees overhead that can play with the GPS signal but this one shouldn't be too hard to hike and grab. There are a few of downed trees to climb over / under early on this trail and a small creek / ravine to cross. Please be careful!
We wouldn't recommend this one in the dark at all. If you you know the trail well and are experienced at hiking, MABYE! but we certainly don't want to see anyone ending up falling down the edge into the saline river at night OR daytime for that matter.
Although it doesn't look like you should because of the yellow line in the hilly street, you can park along the side of the road.
