Cabo Summit Traditional Cache

The highest point in the Cabo San Lucas area accessible by hiking at 1375 feet. Access from a dirt road located between the entrance to the Cumbre del Tezal subdivision and the San Lazaro private club (N22.55.304,W109.52.701).
The easiest approach is to turn uphill on Paseo San Jorge across from the Pemex located at Km 5 on Hwy 1. Go 750m and make a reverse left on the wide dirt road past Vista Bahia development and 250m to the 1st dirt right, 1 Km and turn right before Lunas del Tezal and go aprox 1 Km more to the starting waypoint.
Park non-4X4 vehicles about 1 Km north at the last dirt intersection where the dirt road narrows. Continue 1.5 Km ( 400m road turns east) to the road end and base of the trail. Summit is .5 KM up a steep trail used by extreme mountain bikers. Cache is located beneath the large rock at the highest point on the NW side.
