L'eau de Volvic est réputée dans le monde entier comme étant une des plus pures, peu minéralisée. Vous allez voir jaillir cette eau,captée par un forage de 600 mètres de long, qui va chercher l'eau sous 90 mètres de pouzzolane; a aucun moment, jusqu'àl'embouteillage, elle n'est en contact avec l'air ou toute cause de
pollution, gage de qualité; Un haut relief (en pierre de Volvic,bien sûr), représente le Dr Moity, promoteur de la commercialisation des eaux de Volvic. Près de la cache, unefontaine, jadis place du Toureau, à Clermont Ferrand, qui a été la cause d'un obscur litige, car "volée", du moins ce qui s'est dit.
La municipalité de la ville, a chargé le sculpteur Gilles Pérez, génial créateur de "chemin fais'arts", a Chapdes- Beaufort, de reconstruire un clone de cette oeuvre, à sa place originale.
Beaucoup de moldus en été, soyez très, très discrets!!!
