The Choughly Saint's HALO Cache Series
It’s based on parts of “The Saints Way”, a circuit of some 22 miles, taking in coastline, moorland, a tor and a selection of delightful towns and villages - with many spots to stop for tea or if you’re that way inclined there’s a lovely selection of fine Cornish Pubs on the way round.

St Creden
Also known as
- St Creden
- Credus
- Credanus
Memorial
Profile
He is sometimes reputed to have founded the church of Sancreed in Cornwall. Although there is a problem as to which St Credan as there were two or more Cornish Saints with this name. Some feel the dedication is to St Credan, a disciple of St Petrock, whose body, according to Leland rests in Bodmin; or others to St Credan, son of Illadham, who subsequently returned to Ireland and settled in County Wicklow.
A more likely candidate is St Credan of Cornwall, whose feastday is on 11 May. This is the St Credan who is said to have "killed by misfortune his own father, with which he was so moved as abandoning the world he became a hogherd, and lived so exemplary as he was after esteemed a saint"
