Please note that due to an expansion of activities at Dearnford it is now possible to swim in the lake, there is a fee connected to this activity, Geocachers are exempt from this charge providing you notify staff members that you intend to enter the lake for the sole purpose of finding caches. You will be required to sign a disclaimer to cover Dearnford Lake owners in the event that something might not go to plan.
There will be a parking charge if you exceed 3 hours, put registration number in one of the 2 machines near the entrance when you leave to see if there is a parking fee.
Rob Bebbington the Manager of Dearnford asked us to hide a geocache near the beautiful, peaceful and picturesque Dearnford Lake.
