Truly the back of beyond. Park at the pub and walk about a mile. Stick to the roads and dont worry about the private road sign, If you hit that you know you're in the right place. Check the map before you go or you could have to swim for it
Cache is in a tupperware box and contains a camera and the first people should find a travel bug from Peters in the Rushes attached to Dumbledore, from Dumbledore's retreat.
The pub is now open again after refurbishments and Mavis who runs said pub will serve you a meal worthy of the title of this cache.
After your "Harty Meal" I recommend a visit to Minster Abbey and the tomb therein of Sir Robert de Shurland. (sadly Shurland Hall is off-limits to the public).
Legend Has It.
The tomb of Crusader Sir Robert de Shurland (died c.1310) resides in nearby Minster Abbey and has a horses head seemingly rising from the waves. The story was that Sir Robert had killed a priest and was banished from Court. Upon hearing that the King was sailing past Sheppey, Sir Robert swam out to the ship (he forced his poor horse to carry him out to sea) and he duly received his pardon. When he landed on shore on his loyal and exhausted steed he was accosted by a passing witch who told him that his abuse of the horse that had certainly saved his life would one day cost him his.
Sir Robert, fearing this propechy immediately killed his loyal horse there and then. Some years later upon walking the same stretch of beach he came across the skull of his former loyal steed and contemptuously kicked the skull out of his path. As a result a bone splinter from the skull pierced his foot where blood poisoning and soon after, death resulted. This old tale may explain the horses head the appears on his tomb.
