Mountain Pond Traditional Cache

The cache is located near Mountain Pond in State Game lands 187. I've been wanting to put a cache here for a while and now I finally got to it. There is minimal bushwacking required for this cache as there are trails pretty much right to the cache as long as you take the right trails. There are many parking areas for this cache but the closest one without going on private land is at N41.06.107' W075.55.635.
This cache is on State Gamelands 187. The terrain rating is set the way it is because it is steep going up the power line but then it is pretty level the rest of the way. Parking is located on the side of 309 so be careful exiting your car. Take the powerline trail up until you hit the trail head to the cache. At the trailhead make sure you take the upper trail to your left when you start out and then stay on that trail until you get to the cache. It is a little over 3miles round trip. There is a FTF prize in the cache. Make sure you wear orange during the hunting seasons and remember to always hide the cache as good as or better then you found it. Good Luck!!!
