This cache is part of a series near or around Burbage Common
which was ancient grazing common land shared by the manors of
Barwell, Burbage and Hinckley at the time of the Domesday Book,
1086. It is made up of a mix of semi-natural woodland and unspoilt
grassland is 80 hectares (200 acres) in size. There are picnic
areas, horse riding trails and several miles of public footpaths on
this site.
Many thanks to Paul Scragg, Public Space (Community &
Development) Team Leader of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
for allowing these caches on Burbage Common.
