First Wednesday Café and Crêpes - 2012 MD Edition Event Cache

bernsa: 2012 has come and gone, and I think we wound up starting a nice new series of monthly meet and greets in MontCo.

The event will be carried forward by a rotating series of hosts/events throughout Montgomery County at different locations. Keep your eyes peeled for the next event, you may never know where it shows up.

First Wednesday Café and Crêpes - 2012 MD Edition (GC395TM) was active every first Wednesday from January 4, 2012 to December 5, 2012, with one exception made for the Fourth of July holiday when it was held July 11, 2012 (for 12 meetings).

Overall we had 31 unique cachers turn out, with an average turnout of ~9 per event, and 93 TBs that traveled through the event.

Geocache Description:

This is intended to be a recurring event.
Join Washington area geocachers every First Wednesday of each month at ~7:00pm (Note that traffic along I-495 from Tysons Corner, VA may at times delay the arrival of the host and logbook for a few minutes) at Le Madeleine of Rockville, MD

We'll talk about Geocaching, upcoming hikes and outings and share stories from the field.

The location is:

(General area is SW corner of MD-355/ Rockville Pike and Montrose Parkway. Approximately a one-half mile walk from the METRO White Flint Station along the Red Line)

Time: 7:00pm until Close (~10:00pm)

Every month we will be meeting for geocaching talk and tales of our adventures. All are welcome to this family friendly event. Please feel free to attend any and all of the gatherings this year. As this event starts off, we'll be meeting somewhere in the general dining area. There is the potential to move into a private area over time, but as of now we only will be allowed by the management to gather in the general dining area. Basically we'll try to grab a table that can accomodate the amount of people expecting to turn out. I'll have an identifying GEOCACHING.COM LEGO logo on the table if in doubt.
