I tried to make this one less 'evil' than 'My First Cache'
Note: Cache is not at the posted coordinates, you must solve the puzzle to find the correct coordinates.

Yesterday we were talking about tough interview questions. A friend of mine who is a programmer, said that they used to have a test for interviewees. The idea was they had two hours to write a program that would take a phone number as the input, and calculate the fewest number of moves it would take to dial the number if you could only move in a pattern like a knight in chess.

The Knight is an interesting part of a chess game. Not powerful enough with a king by itself to cause checkmate, but it controls 8 squares on the board and can jump over other pieces. I always thought the knight moved in an L shape, two spaces one way, one space perpendicular, but it could be viewed as one up, one diagonal... and why is the piece a horse? Why is the Rook a Castle?? A castle cant attack anyone in real life? I digress... anyway back to our puzzle...

Take the telephone number and find out the fewest number of 'knight moves' you'd need to dial it. I'm certain you could do this by hand, but if you have tools at your disposal you could certainly use them. I don't believe there is an online tool for this, but you might be better at searching than I am?

A few other things. You start on the first number listed, that starts the count at 0 moves. You will need to use the * and # keys, but none are your final landing spots.
As an example... If I took the phone number 972-555-5555, the first move is from 9 -> 7.
So you would move from 9 to 2 to 7 which is 2 moves.
Then move from 7 to 2 which is 1 move.
Then from 2 to 7 to # to 5 which is 3 moves.
The subsequent 5's require zero. so 972-555-5555 = 6 Moves. Get it?

Hopefully, I didn't make any errors myself, and I shouldnt need to give hints on this one, its straightforward and there is nothing hidden in the HTML or any of that mess. However it will require some work, obviously. Once you have your solution laid out you can verify the coordinates.

Tales of your experience without spoilers are greatly appreciated in the log.

Good Luck everyone.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
