Pred hradnou bránou sa vraj o polnoci zjavuje cierny pes s velkými krvavými ocami a dlhým chvostom. Stráži vstup na hrad a odoženie každého, kto by chcel hradnú bránu prestúpit, Vraj je to duch Turka, ktorý tu pred hradnou bránou zabil vela obrancov a tak za trest teraz musí pri nej držat stráž.
