A quick dash and cache placed in the centre of the lovely village of Dunkerton, which is also a good start point for some lovely circular walks. The cache site now belongs to the Dunkerton Parish Council to whom we are indebted for permission to place the cache.
The actual cache location used to be in an identical position for our Dunkerton Hill cache (GC2TJDE) prior to it being moved in to the village. The Dunkerton Hill cache has subsequently been recovered and re-sited.
If you are passing in June there is an annual, quintessentially English, village fete held here which is well worth a visit.
