This cache is located in Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. The Nature Preserve is along Klondike Road south of Lithonia in southeastern DeKalb County, Georgia. The cache is near the trail and is about a half mile from the Nature Center.
Visitors can and should stay on the trail until they are in the vicinity of the cache. When in the vicinity, a visitor can leave the trail, being careful not to step on sensitive plants, moss, or lichen. The extensive area of rock outcrop west of Klondike Road has been referred to as Mile Rock for well over 100 years. If you are biking, please leave your bike at the bike rack at the Quarry Office Building. Bikes are not allowed off the bike path.

Parking is available at Arabia Mountain Nature Center Parking Lot on Klondike Road, where you can get a trail map. From the Nature Center take the Mile Rock Trail or take the paved bike path south and intersect the Mile Rock Trail at the remains of the old Quarry Office Building.
