Welcome to Hudson Park New Rochelle, New York.
Hudson Park features a grassy recreation area with a cameo playground, a music bandshell, seating areas, bathing, beaches and parking. Parking fees are in effect from Memorial Day Weekend thru Labor Day. Omnicard required.
This is my first cache. I wanted to hide it somewhere that I had a connection to. When I was a teenager this is where we would come to hangout, drink beer and try to hookup. The parking lot is where we would meet up, hoping to make a connection. We would then make our way to the covered seating area. Once there we would try to make the sparks fly. Because the park closes at dusk and we were there well after, the police would often show up to chase us out. Most of us would bolt out of there. To be a kid again.
The cache is a 35mm canister. It is hidden very well. This along with the high muggle activity in the area is why this will prove to be difficult. Please use stealth to retrieve and replace the cache. Also please make sure that the cache is hidden as well as you found it. BYOP. There is $1 for FTF.
Afterwards, don't forget to take in the views and enjoy the park. If you bring children there is a playground for them. If you like irony check the small monument near GZ.
