Geocache Description:

Sometimes a cache location will turn up a bigger discovery than anticipated. As I set off in search of “Big Doorknobs”, I found a location to add to my list. Once I got there, I was reminded that I once had a cache very close to here.

Yesterday’s headline was that the war in Iraq was over and our troops were coming home. With that being said, this cache is more appropriate to honor those that have served our country than the search for a big doorknob… and this place is what I want for you to see.

Dedicated in May 2003 to honor Halifax County's men and women who served our country from the American Revolution through Desert Storm.
