This cache is dedicated to grandpapa's, KARL & CARLOS. For all they have sacraficed for us. Karl has produced 7-Grandchildren and 8-Great Grandchildren. And Carlos has 18-Grandchildren and 21-Great Grandchildren. "And still counting".
They both lived life to the fullest. Worked very hard without the use of Microwaves, cell phone's, or GPS. Meaning no GEOCACHING. I know its hard to believe but its true. So hopfully everyone that stop's by can sign the log and tell a quick story of a caching experience.
GRANDPA’S ROAD – This series of caches is created to honor the men in our families who have gone before us and those still with us…our Grandpa’s! Caches are appropriate for all members of the family. Containers are only large enough to hold the logbook, pencil, and small trade items. Most family vehicles could safety drive to this location on marked trails and roads. Caches are within easy walking distance for most. We invite you to place a cache in honor of your Grandfather’s too. There is lots of space on Grandpa’s Road – at least for now!
