A small camoed container in Banks Cemetery. Daylight hours only.
Having grown up about a mile from this cemetery, I thought why not put a cache here. At an early age, I became fascinated in the old local cemeteries. Connecting the names with an old Richland County map(1896) and a History of Richland County Book(1880) that our family owned, gave me an appreciation of local history.
The first burial here was in 1849 and was used until 1919. Oddly, only one burial has occurred since and it was in 2001.
