SR-51, a stealth cache
SR-51 is not a predecessor or a diminutive of the SR-71 that can be found in the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, a few miles away. Rather it refers to that fact that this is the first 5-rated cache in South Riding (SR). It is apropos that this is located alongside Edgewater Drive, which passes through the South Riding golf course. This is a nano cache not necessarily because it’s magnetic. It might help if you planted your feet on an azimuth of 177º at GZ and then look down, then look right, then look left… …then look up. No manhole covers need to be lifted to get to this cache. 6/15/12: Much to my disappointment after two failed attempts at a new attachment method it has been replaced as before. When you replace the cache make sure it is secured well—there is only a limited amount area where this is effectively attached so it doesn’t go missing again, thanks.
