Geocache Description:

Iron Canyon to Turtle Creek Falls

Had been wanting to make this trek for some time. Nice riding thru here!
Now that I have made the trek, I wish I had of named the series MT01 etc. for MONSTER TREK! Follow my loop and you will end up with 11.5 miles +-. I had to dig deep to finish this trek!! Almost calls Mrs. Rooks to pick me up at Paynes Creek. Had no intention on it taking so long and packed no lunch which caused me to gas with several miles of hard riding left.

Anyway, the series name "ICST" is for Iron Canyon Single Track for mountain bikers. This trail is advance for mountain biking and I would not recommend it for novice riders "me", though I enjoyed it :-)
Quads already burning here, very technical areas, Very ROCKY in most areas, and the trail was hard to follow in areas. Cow trail type trail in most areas.

Start at Iron Canyon trailhead, follow the power line road down the hill to the creek. As soon as you get across the creek take the trail to the left and you are on your way.

There are wide open areas and I purposely left big gaps in the trail for other to play, should you want to plant any and give me a reason to come back out :-)

Download all the child waypoints and you will get points along the trail to help you follow it as well as places where you might want to plant any caches. There were several that were hard for me to not plant any :-)

K, enough jabbering.

log only, no pencil.
The FTF is waaayyy out there at another cache :-)

Enjoy!
Rooks
