A simple multi cache based in Nelson's Brook Valley. Go to the listed coordinates to find the information you need to discover the cache final location.
The listed coordinates are within the Brook Valley Motor Camp which is open to the public as it is also the access way to a number of walking tracks. The cache is not within the Motor Camp but is a short drive / cycle / walk away. At the listed coordinates you will find a plaque and some interesting features related to a memorial for a former Nelson City Engineer. Use this information to determine the cache final location. Cache is located at S 41 1A.BCD E 173 1E.FGH A = Breccia B = Garnet Schist C = Maitai Slate + Adzite D = Granite - Limestone E = Asbestos F = Iron Ore - Copper ore G = Barite - Dunite H = Dolomite + Wollastonite Checksum for A..H = 51 The cache is a micro film cannister with log only. Please keep an eye on little cachers at the final location as there is water and traffic nearby.
