This is a geocache just for fun! If you're visiting Katoomba and enjoy geocaching, this one is easy to reach and uses a common 'natural' camo approach . . . It's not magnetic any longer but is still more less where the older Q was located.
There are lots of backpacker accommodations in Katoomba and this cache on Cascade Street, nearly opposite Town Hall Lane, is located around the corner from a couple of them. Not far away is the new Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, worth a visit. You can stroll to GZ from the train station or from the cafes and shops on Katoomba Street. Hope you'll enjoy it and earn another smilie! Look across the street and a bit north, and try not to get 'all fired up.' Please, please don't cross into private property. There's absolutely no need. The cache can easily be reached from the footpath. And the GZ position should mean that your search isn't noticed from the two private homes on that side of the street.
