Зала Универсиада е една от архитектурните забележителности на София. Построена през 1961 г., името й е свързано с домакинството на София на Световните студентски летни игри "Универсиада 61". Проектът на спортната зала Универсиада е изработен от архитектите Ал. Баров, Д. Владишки, Ив. Татаров, Ив. Иванчев и др.

От създаването си зала Универсиада е утвърдено средище на престижни международни и национални спортни прояви, конгреси, търговско-промишлени изложби и базари, на концерти и спектакли. През годините в залата са проведени над 4 500 спортни и културни прояви.

Зала Универсиада е първата голяма закрита многофункционална зала в България. Уникалното й място в центъра на София прави Универсиада удобна и лесна за посещение от всички райони на столицата. Залата разполага с 2 300 места, над 1500 кв.м. изложбена площ. Комплексът Универсиада разполага със следните зали:
Основна Зала - Осигурява всички удобства за провеждане на: спортни състезания, конгреси, концерти. Капацитет - 2300 човека.
Зала Изток - Изключително подходяща за провеждане на конференции, обучения камерни спектакли, ревюта, коктейли и специализирани изложби. Капацитет - 500 човека.
Зала Юг - Специално оборудвана за провеждане на обучения, пресконференции. Разполага със специално оборудване , екрани, флипчарт, мултимедия. Капацитет 25 човека.

About the installation:
Universiada Hall is one of the architectural landmarks of Sofia. It was built in 1961 and its name is associated with Universiada 61 World University Summer Games of 1961, hosted by Sofia. Universiada Sport Hall was designed by architects A. Barov, D. Vladishki, I. Tatarov, I. Ivanchev, among others.

Since its foundation, Universiada Hall has become an established centre of prestigious international and national sport events, congresses, trade and industrial exhibitions and bazaars, concerts and shows. In the course of the years, over 4,500 sport and cultural events have been taken place at the hall.

Universiada is the first big covered multi-functional hall of Bulgaria. Its unique location in the centre of Sofia makes Universiada convenient and easy to be visited from all regions of the capital. The hall disposes of 2,300 seats and has over 1,500 sq m exhibition area. The Universiada complex offers the following rooms:
Main Hall: Provides all facilities for carrying out sport competitions, congresses, concerts. Capacity: 2,300.
Iztok (East) Hall: Extremely suitable for carrying out conferences, training, chamber performances, fashion shows, cocktails and specialized exhibitions. Capacity:500.
Yug (South) Hall: Equipped especially for carrying out training, news conferences. Offers special equipment, screens, flip charts, multimedia. Capacity: 25.

About the cache:
The given coordinates are not actual coordinates of the cache. These are the coordinates of the hall entrance. On the right side of the entrance there is a plate on which is written a year on the first line. Assume that this year is equal to YYYY. Then XXX = YYYY / 2 - 117 and ZZZ = (XXX - 115) / 2.
So the actual coordinates of the cache after substitutions are:
N 42 40.XXX
E 23 21.ZZZ

Be invisible please! Very crowded place.
When you find the cache, please close it tight after trade and logging to save it from the moisture.
