Two Out of Three Ain't Bad! Traditional Cache
Trail Reader: In the area for Thanksgiving, I spent the morning and early afternoon on a peninsula maintenance run. I found only the magnet here and decided to archive rather than replace the cache, freeing up the area for other cachers. Thanks to all who visited!

With the closure of Fort Ord in September 1994, this area was left abandoned. However, new construction and creative reuse of the old provide glimmers of hope and renewal.
Reduce/Reuse/Recycle...
Geocachers are masters at the second two Rs, but the travel aspect of our sport kicks us in the reduce category as it pertains to fuel (with the exception of rainbow_guyz!).
The reuse ethic is clearly at work here. Several of the barracks buildings have been converted into a builders' office park.
The cache is a small magnetic vial containing a log. Please bring your own pen.
