Mama Jane and I decided to host an event on February 29th of Leap Year for all the cachers who are anxiously awaiting logging a find on that date and thus completing finding a cache on every day of the calendar.
**Groundspeak is trying to see if Leap Day this year will break a record for the most cachers logging on a single day. They will be giving a "Leap Day" souvenir for anyone who logs a find or attend on this day.
Event will be at Abbey Road from 5 pm - 7 pm. Mama Jane and I held an event there recently and the hospitality was so great that we decided to take them up on their offer to come back. So drop in and sign the log and fill in that date on the calendar.
We can tell some "tall tales" again if people want to. That seemed to go over well at the last event. Let me just suggest the topic "When Animals Attack". MJ has a tale about me and a squirrel she's dying to tell. And I'm fairly certain I have something to tell on her.
I'm planning on placing at least one nearby cache so everyone can log a traditional as well.
