Cache is a rubbermaid container, wont hold anything much bigger
than a cd. I placed in it a log book, a Joe Walsh CD, a
thermometer/minicompass combo, and a deck of cards.
This cache isnt located near any great vista, but its a nice
trail and might make a good beginner find.
I parked in the main parking lot off Freys Hill Rd. There may be
better places to park.
Update, May 12th: I visited the cache, its still in good shape.
No sign of tracks or trail around cache. Due to growth, you will
have to "bushwack" a little to get to the cache.
Update June 23rd: I took some items out to open up some space in
the cache. They will go into a new cache I will be placing in the
next few weeks. Growth is much higher than it was in May, its waist
high now. Try to be careful when tromping to the cache.
Update Nov 23rd: Cache has been temporarily removed for clean up
of tic-tac goo. Will be back in place by Sunday. Please, dont put
food or candy in the cache, it makes a nasty mess.
Update Nov 25th: Cache is back in place!! I cleaned all the
items in the cache so none are sticky. Cache is even in a brand new
container - exactly the same as the old one, only clean.
Update May 7th, 2004: Cache has been removed for much needed and
overdue repairs. Will be back in place this weekend, I hope.
Update Sep 21, 2004: Replaced cache with ammo box. Cache is
going to be maintained by members of GEOCKY.
