This is an art cache situated in Clifton Country Park between the 2 ponds, up on the hill where the train track runs by.
The brightly painted bird box is wrapped in ivy-printed material to disguise it!
This is the first art cache for the All About Us creative technology project along the Irwell Sculpture Trail in Salford.
This wooden bird box was made by Start Arts and Health Project and painted by Artist Michael Barnes-Wynters, aka Barney of Doodlebug.
The contents include artwork made by people at Salford Museum and Art Gallery, keyrings decorated for the re-launch of the Irwell Sculpture Trail, as well as postcards, badges, and some great collectable arts pieces and books.
Please feel free to swop anything in the cache with an art creation, book or postcard of your own...
Please prepare your artwork ready to bring to the park with you, or you coud even draw something at the park to put in...
The small plastic container is 15x9x6cm and is already quite full so small drawings, paintings, objects, photos or booklets are good or you could even put something on a usb stick too.
