Well! It's been a while since I've been in SleepyCreek WMA. The last time I was here I was hiking near the West Virginia/Virginia line at Shockey's Knob. Some friends and I ended the day hiking north placing and searching for caches. Since it's International Geocaching Day I figured it's time to come back and have a little get together.
Who:
Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a short meet and greet.
When:
Saturday, August, 18th, 2012
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Where:
At the posted coordinates near the entrance to SleepyCreek WMA.
Why:
To share donuts and coffee, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
Extra things to keep in mind:
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
- I'll be supplying the coffee and donuts.

FTF honors go to The Gunhand!!! Congratulations!!!
