Congratulations to keEVOLVINGep on the Big One, one thousand caches!
Bring your binoculars and camera to this one, maybe a sandwich,too. This is most of the way up Mehoopany mountain on dirt roads. Most vehicles shouldn't have a problem getting here and you'd only need four wheel drive if it were snowy or icy. The dirt roads have been improved due to the windmill farm and are in good shape.
There's no hiking involved, but GZ is preeeetty steep (if you ski, this would be double black diamond), which earns it those stars.
The old fire tower, I think , is gone to make way for the windmills.
Heavy cloud cover and fog might have my coords off a bit, so please feel free to feedback. Hint will get you there.
There are a few ways to get there, but my favorite is Rt.29 to Sugar Hollow Rd., to Maynard Hill Rd, then TR440 Fire Tower Rd.
You can also come from Rt. 87 side and pick up Maynard Hill.
