Short hike to a scenic spot. Once you get here you'll understand the reason for the name. This cache is hidden on Snow Mountain Ranch, owned and administered by the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. Ten miles of trails and over 1000 acres of land are open to non-motorized public recreation at Snow Mountain Ranch.
Park in the Snow Mountain Ranch parking area. Its a short 0.5 mile hike to the cache. There is a trail to the south (uphill) of the cache that should put you within 30 feet. No need to scramble up the steep, loose slopes. This is prime shrub-steppe habitat bordering on a riparian zone. Watch for rattlesnakes, ticks, and scorpions. After you find this cache, no need to rush off. Spend an hour or three exploring the many trails and distant vistas. Enjoy!
